Throughout the game, players and their suits earn experience points used to increase the effectiveness of attack and defensive tactics. The suits include a set of ranged weapons and one energy blade for close combat conditions. Depending on the side, players experience different story-based cut-scenes to keep them up-to-date on the conflict at hand.Įach level is a kill-or-be-killed environment where gamers must destroy tanks, enemy structures, aircraft, and other mobile suit fighters in order to complete objectives identified during a pre-mission briefing. The Zeons are an invading species set on taking the planet for their own, while the Earth Federation is working hard to make sure that doesn't happen.
Featuring suits from the entire series, Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire is set during the later years of "The One Year War." Players are invited to get into the cockpit of a Zeon or Earth Federation fighter and battle for domination.
